When we arrived in Canada we had no idea what the financial situation was like for example the benefits you could get for saving for our children's studies or what kind of account to open in a local bank.

Idioms

In today's lesson I learned new expressions that I had already heard and did not understand.
for example :

1.- Borrow a few bucks
2.- Paying through the nose
3.- blow your money

Bank opion

In my opinion I only agree with some complaints since I have not had experience in all those mentioned in the article.
Excessive/hidden fees.
When I opened my account at the bank I used my debit card several times and at the end of the month  I had a charge for several transactions. I feel ripping me off

sound

For me it is difficult the sound of TH, th, Er, sh, Ng, Zh, because we do not have them in Spanish.

Spanish has only five vowel sounds :)

In Spanish we do not have long or short vowel sounds :)

 2. Three to four points - Give details about what happened - first this , then that and  finally this happened. 
3. Conclusion - the final result, what you learned, idea for future

I'm sorry about being late for your class yesterday.
I messed up my schedule when I entered into my phone.
I hope you don't hold a grudge against me during our next exam.

My life

Hello, my name is Maria, I was born in a small city in Mexico called Aguascalientes witch means hot springs. I lived with my parents until I got married.

We came to Canada in September 2006. due to a job offer for my husband. He's an Electrical Engineer and works with robots.

I got married in July 1997,

 I have 3 children, Pablo 19, Joaquin 15 who were born in Mexico and Abraham 10 was born here in Milton.

I have a pet it's a dog his name is Lobo.

I got a job at a company which prepares lunches for the kids at school.

My dream in the future is to have my own company.
